Anna’s interest in public relations and marketing arose from her fascination with human connection-- while completing her academic studies, she discovered how powerful creating and sharing messages could be in building connection and community. Anna completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Mississippi, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications. Her senior thesis, “Ensuring Brand Activism in Integrated Marketing Campaigns Resonates with Millennial Consumers,” explored how corporate brands can use activism to better connect with millennial consumers. In addition, as an undergraduate she interned in the Public Relations department of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where she contributed to the world-renowned hospital’s communications plan amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, she has worked with Speakable, PBC, a social-impact tech startup revolutionizing civic and social engagement. Anna is committed to communicating the messages of innovative companies creating large, positive change.
